Limits and quotas
Four things are capped. Each has a plan default, and each can be overridden on your organization by a Builddar administrator.

A limit set to unlimited has no ceiling at all.
Member limit
Caps the number of non-guest members in your organization.
- Guests never count. Invite a contractor as a Guest and they consume no seat.
- Your organization page shows seats used and seats remaining.
- When every seat is taken, new non-guest invitations are refused until you free one or raise the limit.
Changes to the member limit are recorded — each change replaces the previous value and is kept in history.
Before asking for more seats, check whether the people you're adding actually need to be members. Subcontractors who only respond to issues and read published documents work fine as Guests, and they're free.

Project limit
Caps how many projects the organization can have. Per-user billing only — per-project organizations have no project limit, because each project carries its own quota.
Drawing quota
Per-project billing only. Each project has a quota of drawings, and credits are added to it as needed.
Every change is recorded with the amount, the quota before and after, who made the change, and an optional reason. If your organization is set up to self-manage, its admins add credits themselves; otherwise a Builddar administrator does.

Zone limit
Caps how many zones a project can hold. This is the one that bites on large residential projects, where a full building-floor-apartment-room tree runs into thousands of zones.

When you hit a limit
- Check which limit it is — the message names it.
- Check whether you can free space: archived projects, guest-instead-of-member, unused drawings.
- If not, ask your organization admin to request an increase.
Report retention
Not a limit as such, but the same family: generated reports are kept for a set number of days, configurable per organization between 1 and 90 days, and 30 by default. After that they're removed.
Published meeting reports are not subject to retention. A compte rendu is a contractual reference and is kept indefinitely.
