Today and My tasks
The mobile app opens on the work, not on a navigation menu. Two screens do that job: Today for the project, My tasks for you.
Required role: any project role. Both screens respect what you're allowed to see.
Today
Today is the project's state right now.
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overdue | Issues past their due date, with a count |
| Due today | What's due before the end of the day, with a count |
| Stats summary | The project's headline numbers |
| Recent activity | The latest changes on the project |
The stats summary carries:
- Total issues and open issues
- Overdue, overdue soon, and due today counts
- Overall progression as a percentage
- Average completion time, with the number of completed issues it's based on
Recent activity lists individual changes — what changed, on which issue, by whom, and when. Tap through to the issue.
Check Overdue before you leave the site office, not after you've walked. It usually changes the order you visit the building in.
My tasks
My tasks narrows to what is assigned to you:
- Your issues, ordered by due date.
- Your checklists that are not started or in progress. Completed ones drop off.
Each list carries its own count, so you can see the size of your day at a glance.
How they differ
| Today | My tasks | |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | The whole project | Assigned to you |
| Answers | What's happening? | What do I have to do? |
| Includes checklists | No | Yes |
| Includes other people's work | Yes | No |
Use Today to run the project. Use My tasks to run your day.
Offline
Both screens need a connection to refresh, because both are summaries computed across the whole project. What you captured offline is still queued and safe — it appears in these counts once it syncs.
