Install a template from the library
Builddar ships a small library of ready-made inspection templates. Installing one copies it into your project, where you can edit it like any other template.
Required role: Manager (or Organization Admin).
What's in the library
| Template | Covers |
|---|---|
| Construction quality | Structural shell, MEP rough-in, interior finishing, safety and compliance. |
| Pre-delivery inspection | Walls and ceilings, floors, doors and windows, plumbing fixtures, electrical and lighting. |
| Drawing compliance | Checks that what's built matches what's drawn. |
Every library template comes with its sections and items already written, translated into your language.
Install one
- Open the project's Checklists area and go to Templates.
- Open the Library.
- Browse the templates — each shows its sections, its items, and how many there are. Templates already installed in this project are marked as such.
- Choose Install on the one you want.
Result: a copy of the template is created in your project. From here it's a normal template: rename it, add or remove items, reorder sections.
note
A library template can only be installed once per project. If you need a second variant, duplicate the installed copy and edit that.
tip
New projects already come with the default templates set up, so check your template list before installing — what you need may be there.
